From our local restaurants & clubs to stunning walks and historical sites. Apart from our rich indigenous and pioneering European past there’s plenty to see and do in the Robinvale-Euston region.
Why not play a round of golf in the well-maintained greens of the Robinvale Golf Club. Treat the family to a game on one of Robinvale’s 21 grass tennis courts or a social afternoon of lawn bowls at the Euston Club Bowling Greens.

Robinswood Homestead
Built in 1926, this historic house was the home of the Cuttle family, founders of Robinvale. This small historic house was the home of the Cuttle family, founders of Robinvale. Memorabilia of the Cuttle family, especially Robin Cuttle for whom the town is named are displayed, together with some documents and photographs of the town twinning with Villers-Bretonneux.
Rural Life Museum
Robinvale’s Rural Life Museum is situated on Bromley Road, adjacent to the Railway Station and Visitor Information Centre. The Museum is open Saturdays from 9am and will open a other times by appointment.
The Rural Life Museum started from very humble beginnings in 1991. A very small group of vintage machinery enthusiasts decided to ban together so they could share their passion.
Robinvale Grove of Honour
Grove of Honour is located on Latje Road, Robinvale. The project was initiated by the committee formed for the 50 years celebration of the Settlement in 1997 and completed in 2003. The Robinvale RSL Sub-Committee looks after the 246 Kurrajong trees representing 246 ex-servicement who took up the dried fruit blocks after World War II.
Mungo National Park
Willandra Lakes Region World Heritage Area
One of Australia’s richest archaeological finds. To the Elders and Caretakers of the land, this has been a special meeting place since the Dreamtime. There is much speculation and debate in scientific circles, with some believing that there was human occupation in the region over 40,000 years ago.
The Dreamtime Mungo National Park is a special place and has an energy that will capture you and draw you in. The archaeological treasures of Mungo Man and Mungo Woman were found here and are carbon dated to over 40,000 years old. These human remains indicate that Aboriginal people inhabited the area during this time, and make this the oldest known site of human occupation in the region.
Many of the archaeological treasures have been exposed at Mungo through natural erosion rather than by means of organised archaeological exploration. Ancient artefacts, plant matter and animal bones can be found in their natural habitat along the ‘Great Walls of China’ – an amazing 33 kilometre stretch of Australian sand dunes and lunettes, formed by centuries of sand storms.
1848 Euston Station
In 1846, Edmund Morey trekked down the Murray River and squatted on the site of Boomiacrool station, later called Euston Station run.
There was no real contact with either Sydney or Melbourne or any other settlement of consequence in the area at that time. From the 1850s the land was used mainly for wool production and was developed as an essential river port.
Euston was eventually proclaimed as a township in 1885. The station was sold multiple times throughout the years mainly due to drought. Approximately 1968, Euston Station was sold to the Tyack family, and Euston Station came to life again with the new era of irrigation.
The original log cabin homestead built-in 1848 stills stands today. This restored 170-year-old early settlers cabin is situated on the banks of a private billabong just off the Murray River, 5km’s from the township of Euston.

Euston Robinvale Lock & Weir is a fascinating insight into an aspect of the Murray River. BBQ facilities, shelter & lawned area ensure you can take your time to admire the view from the height of the hill and learn about this important construction.
